Not so long ago at Free Union Country School... say, 2004... 30 quail eggs arrived in the mail to be delivered to the 2/3 classroom. Never have I seen more excited children, except, perhaps, when 23 of them hatched within hours of each other. Or maybe when the worms arrived in the mail that same year :-) Beth Moorman
