Science

The classes cover grade-level content recommended by the Next Generation Science Standards through inquiry, a method which adopts an investigative approach to teaching and learning science. Students are provided with hands-on opportunities to investigate a problem, search for possible solutions, make observations, ask questions, test ideas, think creatively, and communicate their findings and new questions. Most importantly, science at Free Union honors and fosters students' natural curiosity about the world around us.

Experiments and investigations will bring together understandings from biology, chemistry, physics, ecology, argument, literature, and writing.
