Performing Arts & Music

FPA22The Performing Arts program at Free Union empowers students to express themselves through their voices and bodies to tell meaningful stories and make music. In the fall, students learn the basics of music with a focus on making and analyzing rhythm, and learning and singing songs. The winter and spring semesters include the production and performance of both devised/original and classic children’s theater. The goal of Performing Arts is to kindle students’ creativity through both curious improvisation and an overview of tools for communicating effectively either onstage or in the wider community.
