How You Can Help
About Philanthropy at Free Union
From the moment of the 1984 construction of the first campus building, a log cabin, the founding families of the Free Union Country School literally built the nurturing and academically stimulating environment that allows our children to excel as they develop and learn. Since then, devoted parents, grandparents, alumni, and community members have continued to expand and maintain the school by supporting its financial needs that exceed the tuition.
Knowing how valuable a Free Union education is to their own children and to future generations, many Free Union families choose to support its ongoing mission through the annual Free Union Fund and gifts to the Endowment. In addition, several fund raisers throughout the year, such as the Wreath Sale, the Auction, and the Spring Fair provide creative and enjoyable ways for families to contribute their time as well as their financial resources to the school. All of these giving opportunities help to secure the future of Free Union Country School’s unique learning environment.
Like all strong non-profit independent schools and colleges, The Free Union Country School depends upon the generosity of its community to support and sustain its academic excellence, faculty, and facilities. Through the kindness of hundreds of donors each year, The Free Union Country School is able to provide talented teachers, small classes, rigorous and thoughtful academic programs, and an idyllic country campus. Your support will help provide the lifelong love of learning and strong sense of community that are the hallmarks of a Free Union education.
