Harry Potter Camp - CLOSED/FULLsummer camp 2018 web2

6-10-year-olds, $300

Enter the magical world of Harry Potter. First up, the sorting hat to find your house. Then on to the all-important wand making! Study Potions, Muggles, Astronomy, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures and of course Quidditch!

No prior Harry Potter knowledge required—we will watch the first movie at the beginning of the week to have it fresh in our minds. And, to ensure we don't spoil any surprises, we will only learn about things from the first book!


Young Artists Camp - CLOSED/FULL

4-6-year-olds, $185
(extended day option 12:30-3pm, $300 total)

Join our young artists' camp and get messy! We will paint, draw, sculpt, and design using all sorts of materials, and take advantage of our beautiful country campus for play and creativity, both inside and out.


Mythical Beasts Art Camp

Rising 2nd-6th, $300

Stalk the lore of mythical beasts and use that inspiration while working in sculpture, painting, fabric art, graphic design and even pottery wheel work. All this work happens both inside and out on our very own wilderness area.


Ancient Hills Naturalists Camp

Rising 2nd-6th, $300

Explore the mysteries of the Blue Ridge with VA geology! There will be rock hounding, artifact study and hunting, Monacan history inquiry, a look at fossils; and how our landscape changed over time, both under our feet and topside.


Earthworks Art Camp

Rising 2nd-6th, $300

Use your hands to dig into prehistoric and contemporary art! There will be natural fibers, woodworking, soapstone carving, weaving, felting, digging for clay, creating a firing pit, making petroglyphs as well as a large-scale collective earthwork.
