John Fisher, 4/5 Class Teacher |

|
John was born and raised in Washington, D.C. but spent much of his time in Milton, Delaware and Capon Bridge, West Virginia. After graduating from Guilford College with a degree in geology, John went into the field of outdoor education and then into the classroom. In 2002, after teaching fourth and fifth grade at an independent school in Alexandria for nearly six years, he relocated to southern Albemarle. Since then he has spent some of his time resurrecting a 1963 motor scooter, painting giant postage stamps, going on long walks, and fixing up an old house. John lives just outside of Schuyler with Jessica and their dog, Bird.
